the dream seeds project

While working together as therapeutic clowns at BC Childrens Hospital, Tamara and Melissa discovered they both have a history of vivid dreaming. The Dream Seeds project is a collaboration between these two Vancouver artists to explore the realm of dreams through a multi-disciplinary process incorporating clown, shadow puppetry, live-projected sand drawing, and music. Approaching the dream world through clowning, which embodies both the beginners mind and an irresistible vulnerability, is a way to inquire into dark corners and light places of the psyche for artistic performance.
